Without a doubt, Angie is the best waxer I have ever had in my 10+ years of getting Brazilians. Not only is her work thorough and as painless as possible, but she makes you feel welcomed and entertained with her outgoing and humorous personality. Even though I originally started coming here because it was close to my home and now live outside of the city, I've continued to return to the Wax shack and probably will as long as I stay in the portland area. I have recommended many friends to Angie and they have all enjoyed their experience as well. Highly, highly recommend her!

I just recently moved to Portland and spend the first couple of months looking for a good place to take care of the "business", if you know what I mean. Finally found Angie, and even though I was a little skeptical before going to my appointment, She was amazing. Quick, easy, totally comfortable, painless (well, as painless as it gets!) and above all, affordable. I would recommend The Wax Shack to anyone who wants a good waxing experience. Sure, she doesn't have Buddha Bar playing in the background and candles burning everywhere, but who ever said waxing was ever meant to be relaxing and glamorous has never pulled a single hair out of their skin! It's the person and their skillfulness that can either make you feel miserable or comfortable and Angie is the best when it comes to that. I mean, making you feel as comfortable as possible.
Call her, make an appointment, and respect her time and schedule because this woman is busy. You will never go anywhere else!
